Beginner Surfing Lessons at Black Stone, Bali

It’s officially wet season as all four vans from surf camp headed over to Nusa Dua in search of great waves and favourable winds.

As you can see from the gallery, our beginners started at Black Stone where they will also surf their second session and waves were coming through in the knee to chest-high range with the offshore wind keeping everything nice and clean.

Our intermediate group started their day up the road at Geger Left before joining the others at Black Stone after breakfast and our advanced surf guiding surfed twice at Geger Right.

Advanced Surf Guiding and Private Surf Lessons at Greenbowl, Bali

For the first session of the morning our advanced group headed to Greenbowl for surf guiding and private surf lessons.

Waves were coming through in the shoulder to head-head range with a few larger sets and had plenty of power — as is typical of the more exposed south coast breaks. The onshore wind resulted in some choppiness but everyone had a great session.

Elsewhere at the surf camp this morning two full vans of our beginners started their day at Dreamland and the intermediate group joined them a stone’s throw away at A-frame.

Beginner Surfing Lessons at Padang Padang, Bali

This morning our beginner group made the short journey of less than 1km to our local beach at Padang Padang for their group and semi-private surfing lessons.

The wind resulted in the waves not being as perfectly clean as they often are but conditions — breaking softly around knee-high — were still excellent for learning, as you can see from the great rides in today’s gallery.

Elsewhere at the surf camp, our advanced group surfed at Uluwatu for both sessions while the intermediate group started their day at Toro Toro before surfing their second session at Uluwatu.

Advance surf guiding at Uluwatu, Bali

Happy new year 2020

It was another beautiful dawn session for our advanced surfers this morning down the road at Uluwatu. Swell is bigger and conditions are clean with light offshore wind.  The waves are shoulder high to head high or overhead high on sets.  Perfect opportunity for advanced group to practice different surf maneuvers.

Our beginners at the same time enjoyed their surf lessons at Padang Padang beach this morning. Very comfortable conditions for beginners surf lessons. Not so busy and waves are waist high to chest high. Seems like someone had really nice surf sessions this morning.
