When the waves get bigger, too big for most of the surf spots in the south of Bali, then Jimbaran is the place to go. A hip-high left-hander is peeling over the reef at the south end of this famous fishing bay. Longboarders and beginner surfers are having a great time surfing there.

If it is your very first time surfing, you can also catch waves at the beach break in front of the local warungs. There is plenty of space in the water and the waves are coming consistently. Okay, it is not the prettiest beach, but who cares when the waves are good?
