Advanced surf guiding at Uluwatu
★★★★★
Wonderful conditions this morning in the world’s best surfing holiday destination! Our advanced group paddled out through the famous cave at Uluwatu just as the water rose enough over the reef to paddle out to the line-up. The surfers enjoyed beautiful April early-morning conditions with a very light offshore breeze and glassy wave faces. The last of the large pulse of swell has faded away, and a new fun-sized swell has begun to fill in, with the forecast showing 3 ft. at 16 seconds from 224 degrees. The waves were in the head-high range with occasional larger sets from the new swell. The surfers worked on sharpening their top turns and cutbacks in the smooth conditions.
The new long-period swell will be filling in today. It is predicted that it will begin to show its size this afternoon while peaking tomorrow. See you out there!
