Our experienced surfers enjoyed exceptional surf conditions at Balangan this morning. A strong, new swell has arrived, producing powerful waves across the entire island. At Balangan, surfers faced challenging double overhead waves with offshore winds, creating ideal barrel opportunities. Mornings like these attract skilled surfers from around the world. Furthermore, the offshore wind allows for uninterrupted surfing throughout the day. These conditions provide the perfect chance to put your abilities and bravery to the test in demanding waves, with the potential to catch an incredible barrel ride.

The swell will continue to build throughout the day, gradually decreasing in size by tomorrow morning. Keep an eye out for the beginning of the Padang Padang Rip Curl Cup trials.

We enjoyed ideal dry-season surfing conditions and weather at several breaks this morning! Our advanced surfers had an exceptional time at the flawless Uluwatu, while our intermediate surfers opted for Toro-Toro and Balangan, and the beginners found their spot at Padang Padang. At Uluwatu, the surfers ripped head-head plus waves, which were breaking in long, organized lines with several barrel and turn sections on the various peaks. The advanced surfers skillfully maneuvered through the chunky sections, executing impressive tube rides and high-speed carves.

We have another large swell coming tomorrow. The big wave surfers can pull out their guns for The Bombie and Outside Corner. For the rest of us, there are several alternative spots that offer safe and enjoyable surfing conditions, even during a large swell.

A solid swell is pulsing throughout Bali this morning. The wave heights at the premier breaks are reaching double overhead plus with triple overhead sets cleaning up the line-up. Combined with a morning low tide and moderate offshore wind, these are the perfect conditions for the famous Outside Corner.

Outside Corner offers very long carvable walls and is suitable for serious big wave surfers only. The waves are much more powerful and move at a greater speed than is apparent from watching from the cliff. Getting out to the line-up beyond the breaking waves and the current is a challenge in itself, as a mistimed paddle out can result in taking large sets on the head and being pushed far down the reef.

This morning, our beginner surfers braved the out-of-season rain and paddled out to Baby Padang. Despite the rain, the surfers had a great time surfing the waist-high inside reform of the surf break as the larger sets broke on the outside. The swell has picked up considerably overnight, approaching the double overhead range at the standout spots. The offshore tropical system caused the wind to blow slightly onshore; however, the protected wave at Padang Padang remained clean.

Unlike in many Western countries or densely populated areas, there is no issue with surfing in the rain here.
