Beginner Surf Lessons at Padang Padang

Our beginner surfers enjoyed excellent surfing conditions at Baby Padang this morning! The waves were in the shoulder-high range, the wind was blowing offshore, the water was the perfect temperature, and the tide was in a good range. The surfers worked on identifying the feeling of the surfboard beginning to plane on the wave, which is the signal to initiate your pop-up.
Knowing when to pop-up on the surfboard is a key skill every surfer must learn. If you stand up too early, the wave will pass underneath you, and if you stand up too late, you will miss the opportunity to control the board from the top of the wave.
