Airport Rights Surf Report and Spot Info

Yesterday, our surfers enjoyed a perfect day at Airport Rights, with a light crowd as an added bonus. With yesterday’s perfection fresh in our minds, we headed straight back to the famous wave for more. We did not have the perfect conditions we had yesterday, but there was plenty of fun surf on tap. The wind from the west added some texture to the line up, however the faces of the waves were clean enough for fun surfing. The reef produced head-high right-handers breaking for long rides.

Airport rights is a wave located very near the tip of the runway on the Jimbaran side of the airport. It is one of the best right-handers in Bali, and one of the few waves that break right on the west coast.

When there’s not quite enough swell for surf camp favourite Toro Toro, the next wave up the reef — Airport Rights — is usually the next stop and that’s exactly where the surf lessons and guiding took place this morning for our intermediate groups.

Not quite as clean as it was yesterday, waves were breaking in the chest to head-high range and the lack of crowds ensured that everybody caught loads of waves.

After breakfast our beginners and intermediates surfed at Dreamland and our advanced guiding group — who surfed the dawn session at Uluwatu — surfed at Greenbowl

Our advanced group headed to Airport Rights for another great surf session at dawn. Exciting boat trip to the spot is additional benefit along with fun right-hand wave. Conditions are clean today with moderate offshore and very comfortable. Swell size is smaller than yesterday and waves are head to overhead high.

Early morning call and both of our Advanced and Intermediate groups headed to Jimbaran bay in pursuit of some waves there. Conditions are really good today, clean and quiet, light offshore wind in the morning but a bit cloudy, swell size is bigger than yesterday. Advanced group surfed Airport Right where waves are shoulder high to head high today (see photos). Intermediate group had surf lessons at Toro Toro riding chest high to shoulder high waves. Our Beginners enjoyed surf lessons at Padang Padang beach, also very quiet in the early morning and waves are waist high to chest high.

Today all of our groups headed to Jimbaran bay for surfing. Another amazing sunrise and another great surf sessions for our surfers. Conditions are excellent today, light offshore breeze and swell size is a bit bigger than yesterday. Advanced group surfed Airport right where waves are head high to overhead high. Intermediate and beginners groups had surf lessons at Toro Toro. Intermediate surfers enjoyed shoulder high to head high waves while our novice surfers were learning surfing inside of the spot where waves are smaller chest high to shoulder high on sets.

Early morning call even when it’s still dark, light refill with some coffee before departing, a boat trip accompanied and by an amazing sunrise and great surf session, eventually. This is how all of our groups started their day today. Advanced, intermediate and beginners groups headed to Jimbaran bay this morning. Conditions are windy with fresh offshore and cloudy, swell size is bigger than yesterday and still picking up. Advanced group surfed Airport Right where waves are head high to overhead high today (see photos). Intermediate group had surf lessons at Toro Toro riding shoulder high to head high and overhead high on some sets waves. Beginners learned to surf at Tower today with waves waist high to chest high.

Conditions a bit windy today with fresh offshore but still very comfortable for learning and improving. Swell size is smaller than yesterday and waves are chest high to shoulder high.
Beginners group enjoyed their surf lessons at Padang Padang beach this morning. Comfortable conditions for novice surfers and super fun surfing session with waves waist high to chest high.

This morning our intermediate group headed to Airport right for surf lessons. So great to see again amazing
sunrise and enjoy a boat trip to the spot. Conditions are still windy here but good enough for having fun surf session.
Swell is picked up and waves are shoulder high to head high. Notwithstanding a bit bumpy conditions our surfers enjoyed their surf lessons today and managed to demonstrate a really nice performance.
Our group of beginners had their surf lessons at Baby Padang this morning. Wave’s size is the same as yesterday chest high to shoulder high. Our beginners are improving very fast, seems like our intermediates will meet newcomers soon.
