Unlike many surf destinations which can and do go flat, there is always a rideable wave in Bali 365 days a year. Today the weather is a bit cloudy and the waves are small but still good for surfers. Not many people in the water. When we arrived, it was very small, but when the tide came, several sets came, and our Guest was very happy because they got a lot of waves, and could surf Balangan for the first time and hope to surf there again

The lessons for our intermediate group this morning were at Balangan. The conditions were clean and ideal for learning, with the bigger head high sets interspersed with some smaller 3ft waves so our learners could practice both bigger drop ins and creating and maintaining speed on smaller waves. Once again the sun was shining and the wind was moderate for the morning session. The group came back to camp for a quick rest and refuel before heading to Padang Padang for their second session of the day.
