Nusa Dua is the jewel in the crown of Indonesia’s tourist industry if you got plenty of money and prefer 5-star vacations away from backpackers and budget travellers. The coastline is fringed from far south to far north with 5-star hotels, golf courses and conference centers. International conferences are regularly held here and have been frequented by Presidents, kings, and other world leaders.
Nusa Dua literally means two islands and is naturally very beautiful. There are a multitude of surf spots for all levels of surfers, making the region the surf camp’s go-to spot in the wet season where all of the breaks will be predominantly offshore or cross offshore. Breaks such as Geger right, Geger left, Chicken Wings, and Sri Lanka are excellent waves for advanced surfers. Black Stone, Mengiat, and Mushroom Secrets are fun for intermediate surfers, and a great location for beginner surf lessons in the right conditions. Which is the best spot to go depends on the swell size, tide and wind direction, which will typically vary between South West and West.
